Adrian received a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from Rhodes University in South Africa. He then went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant attaining third place in the final qualifying exams in South Africa.

After serving his articles with Coopers & Lybrand in South Africa, he immigrated to Canada and commenced employment in the trust industry, working at executive level positions in two of the three largest trust companies in Canada.

In 1996 he moved to Barbados and in 1998 was the co-founder of Cidel Bank & Trust Inc., a private wealth management bank and a trust company. Cidel is now the largest privately owned bank and trust company in Barbados.

Aside from his role as President of Cidel Bank & Trust, Adrian is an active investor in private equity and junior public companies. He is married with four children.
