Grant Stein Grant Stein is Walkers' global managing partner. A graduate of Edinburgh University with degrees in commerce and law, Grant was in private practice in Edinburgh with Shepherd & Wedderburn, W.S., one of the leading Scottish firms before moving to the Cayman Islands to join Walkers in 1980. Grant became a partner of the firm in 1984 and is now head of the firm's Corporate & International Finance Department. He is also a member of the firm's Regulatory team and is a Notary Public. In addition to specialising in international trust matters, Grant is active in banking, trust and insurance regulatory matters. He is a member of the International Tax Planning Association and is a founder member and former chairman of the Cayman Islands Branch of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Grant is also the co-editor of the Cayman Islands section of Longman's "International Trust Precedents", has published numerous articles and is a regular speaker at conferences. He was recently named as a leading wealth adviser and appeared on the 2005 Top 100 Citywealth list.
