Mark Bridges
Farrer & Co
Mark Bridges joined
Farrer & Co in 1978 and has been a partner since 1985. Mark's practice
includes international estate and succession planning, inward investment
into the United Kingdom and a domestic practice. In 1998 he was
appointed the Solicitor to the Duchy of Lancaster, and in 2002 as
Private Solicitor to HM The Queen.
Mark is a director of a number of trust companies both in the United
Kingdom and overseas. He is a member of the Trust Law Committee, the
STAR Group, the ITPA, the IBA, STEP and an Academician of the
International Academy of Estate and Trust Law.
He is a Governor of the Purcell School, Sherborne School for Girls and
of Hanford School. He is also Treasurer of the Charity Music in Country
Churches, and a Trustee of the University College London Hospitals
Charity.
He frequently travels to visit clients and regularly lectures in the
United Kingdom and overseas on a variety of trust related topics. He
edited "International Succession Law" for Tolleys (2001) and contributed
a chapter to a companion volume on the Planning and Administration of
Offshore and Onshore Trusts (2001).
