Mr. Jáuregui is the founding member of the Law Firm of Jáuregui, Navarrete y Nader and the Chairman of its Management Board; he specializes in mergers and acquisitions and energy, telecommunications and infrastructure, and heads the international trusts and estate planning practice of the Law Firm. Mr. Jáuregui is a frequent speaker in conferences and seminars, and writer of legal articles and pamphlets. Member of the Mexican Academy of International Law, the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law, Vice President of the Board of Governors of the Council on Foreign Affairs of Mexico, Vice President and General Counsel of the National Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Mexican Council of Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology and President of its Section of North America, Vice President and General Counsel of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico and its Executive Committee, Director of the Board of Directors of the British Chamber of Commerce of Mexico and past Chairman, Director of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Member of the Board of Governors of the Franz Mayer Museum, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the U.S.-Mexico Foundation for Culture, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Foundation of the Biblioteca Vasconcelos, Member of the American British Cowdray Medical Center Foundation and past Chairman and Secretary of the Assembly of Associates of the Universidad Iberoamericana, a Jesuit University.
